Marguerite Gunther Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marguerite Hanna Gunther, 98, of Vacaville, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1791 Marshall Road, Vacaville. Burial will follow at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Mrs. Gunther was born in Kansas City, Kan., on Feb. 7, 1912, to Jess and Mary Blowers. She passed away peacefully at the Vacaville Convalescent and Rehab Center on Dec. 27, 2010. The family wishes to thank Vacaville Convalescent for the wonderful care given to their mother.
Mrs. Gunther is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathryn and Charles Harris of Vacaville; three grandchildren, Kenneth and wife Jina Harris of Granite Bay, Debra and husband Joseph Owens of Fairfield, and Raymond Harris of Downingtown, Pa.; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves behind one brother, Robert Blowers of Lenexa, Kan.
Mrs. Gunther was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis. Arrangements by Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home, 446-3233, www.vacahillschapel.com.
