Giovanni Goodman Obituary
A memorial service for Giovanni Goodman, 26, of Vacaville, will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville.
Giovanni died on Dec. 30, 2010, in Vacaville, following a long battle against non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Born on April 4, 1984, in Queens, N.Y., he was an aspiring rap artist, well-known locally and in the Sacramento area as "The Chemo Kid."
He had worked as a personal banker at Travis Credit Union, Bank of America and WestAmerica Bank.
He is survived by his parents, Guglielmo and Nicole Goodman; sister, Gabriella Goodman; nieces, Mariah and Mahogony Corely; as well as five stepbrothers and two stepsisters.
