Hazel Harrington passed away peacefully on Sunday in her Vacaville home surrounded by her family.
Hazel loved to tell stories of her many years of marriage and raising a family. She enjoyed cooking, reading, long drives to Tahoe and to the ocean as well as making wreaths for all occasions.
Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Wayne Harrington; five children, Tina, Wayne, J. Paul, Jody and Jessica; eight grandchildren, Barrett, Jordan, Christopher, Joshua, Peyton, Nathan, Noah and Maxie; and three great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Seychelles and Nevaeh. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Gale and Pat; brother, Jimmy; brother-in-law, Gregory; daughter-in-law, Nichelle; son-in-law, Antoine; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy; sister, Alma; son, Brandon; and grandson, Corey.
A Celebration of Life honoring Hazel Lucille Harrington, 67, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, will be held Friday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m., at Nadeau Family Funeral Home with Pastor Leroy Gainey of First Baptist Church officiating.
Arrangements are by Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave., Vacaville, CA 447-7700.
