Private graveside services for Robert "Bob" Edgar McCaughna, 88, were held this past week in Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, Calif.
Mr. McCaughna passed away on Thursday, Oct., 21, in VacaValley Hospital after a brief bout with cancer.
He was born on July 20, 1922, in Glendale, Calif., to James Allen and Margaret (Cobel) McCaughna.
In his working years, he was a manager for 10 of those years, specializing in construction.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel of Vacaville, and four nephews.

Bob was my last surviving Uncle and a great friend. Although I live in the UK we talked at least once a week and emailed in between. His sense of humour was second to none and I shall miss his smiling face. I Thank him for making Auntie Hazel so very happy for more than forty years. Love always.
