Retired Chief Petty Officer Antonio "Tony" Baza, 85, of Dixon, Calif., passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Nov. 6, at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base.
He was born on Oct. 11, 1925, on Guam.
He served 21 years in the United States Navy as a submarine cook. He retired from the Navy in 1971.
Visitation will be held today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Dixon, Calif. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The burial with full military honors will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon.
