At her request, there will be no services for Mildred "Mid" Griffin, 89, of Vacaville, who passed away at her home on Christmas night. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and her husband of 68 years, Dr. Richard A. Griffin.
She was a woman of great strength when needed by her husband, Dick, and her children, Julie and John. She lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed her travels all over the world with her husband and family. She had many dear friends in Vacaville who she enjoyed many social activities with including many afternoons playing bridge.
Her husband and family wishes to thank everyone at Sutter Hospice and the caregivers who lovingly cared for her. Also, we wish to thank all of our friends and extended family who cared so deeply for our well being in this time of sadness.
