John Guinane Obituary

JOHN GUINANE John J. Guinane passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 27, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospice House Bethlehem, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, was the son of Geraldine Denton Guinane and the late James J. Guinane. He graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School Drexel Hill. John was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Services. He was an employee of Nabisco/Kraft Foods Company for 38 years, retiring in 2005. John is survived by his loving wife, Karen Gilkin Guinane; two devoted children, Tina Guinane McDonald of Lansdale and John K. Guinane and Michelle Adams Guinane of Alburtis; two sisters, Virginia Guinane McVey and David McVey of Morton and Christine Guinane Whisler of Clifton Heights; eight grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. John's family will receive family and friends Tuesday, July 2, at 12PM in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice House of Bethlehem, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Arrangemetns are by the Auer Cremation Service of Pa., Inc.
