Jennie Gammill Obituary
Jennie was born Jan. 24, 1912, in Herrin, to Angelo and Caesarina (Rossi) Oldani. She married Larry Gammill in 1934 in Detroit. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin.
Survivors include a niece, Linda and Larry Cox of Mulkeytown; great-nephew, Matthew and Jenny Cox of Raymore, Mo.; great-great-nieces, Zaylee Ann and Ava Marie Cox of Raymore, Mo.; nephews, Robert W. and Joanna of Scottsdale, Ariz., Robert Wick of Normal.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Netta (Oldani) Wick, Lena (Oldani) Meadows, and Louise Wilson; and her brother, Robert W. Oldani Sr.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at San Carlo Cemetery. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the graveside.
Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
