I remember he used to pull my hair in church. I started giving him gum and he quit pulling my hair. One day he said something about the gum to Mom and she said it was a "bribe" to keep him from pulling my hair. He laughed-- he hadn't made the connection. Even all these years later, whenever I visited him in the hospital, I always brought gum-- even when he didn't really chew it anymore. I'm working in St Louis tonight, so my sister gave him the gum for me this time.

Aaron, sorry to hear about your dad. No more pain for him now, so you and your family just reflect on all the good times you've had with him! God is our strength today and tomorrow.

Sandy, Aaron and Shannon,
We are so devastated to hear about the passing of Bill. He has been such a trooper over the years with his battle against cancer. We will all miss Bill but I know he is with some close Relay friends, especially Dad and Mom. May God bless you and comfort you during this time. When your heart is aching so bad you think you can't make it, praise God for sparing him from anymore suffering.
We love you all and hold you up to God for healing.
