Hurricane - Wendy Staar Mettinger passed away February 9, 2018. She was born October 21, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to Rudolph Frank and Greta Victoria Pearson Staar. She married Ferrel Harold Kelsey.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Ferrel; daughter Lyndsey Mettinger; granddaughter, Halo Staar; and sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Nile Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rudolph Frank (Sandy) Staar, III. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221. Dearest Wendy.....I recently came across a photo of your sweet Daughter that you sent me when she was 2 months old. We were "BFF's" when I lived in Glenview till we were in 6th grade. We had to move away due to my Dads work transfer. We cried like babies.
I thought I would try to reach out to you via Facebook. My heart broke when I learned of your passing and I was flooded with memories of the fun times we had as kids.
Your Daughter and Grand-daughter are beautiful. They must miss you dearly.
I know you are at peace and watching over them with love.
