This precious woman touched my life in many ways. I would be with Aunt Elena visiting Aunt Shirley. I had the opportunity of staying a few times with Aunt Shirley and Uncle Elton. She taught me great values, shared her special talents, but most of all a loving friendship. I shall miss you Aunt Shirley, but know that I have always kept you in my thoughts and prayers, with all my love, Fawn

Blaine. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. She was a great lady. She was so proud of you. She would always keep me informed about you and what you were doing when I would come home for a visit. She will be missed for her smile and love for all of us. May the Lords blessing be with you and your family.

Your Mom Shirley was a wonderful example of how I wanted to live my life. I moved to Cedar as a single mom with a 5 year old daughter. Whenever I needed to do something, or attend the temple, Shirley took care of her so I could. one weekend I had to be gone and your blessed Mom took care of my daughter the entire time. I have tried to be more like her and I feel so blessed to have met her and to have had her in my life.

Dear Family of Shirley Stratton. I remember Shirley with so much fondness! She was the perfect example of what a woman should be. I remember Dianne telling me that her mother always wanted to wear a smile and she certainly did that! I am sending my love and deepest sympathy to you children and to all who love her. Mary Foster Henderson. We live in Illinois part of the year and I am there now or I would surely attend her services.

My Dear Reber Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Shirley. What a wonderful woman she was! Over the years I have had many sweet visits with her, what a shining light she was!! Always so happy and full of the light of The Savior!
I will always remember the day her, Janice & Sandra came out to visit Kirby before he passed away. They brought so much love and joy with them! Kirby was able to forget his worries for a while and he talked about it for days.
I wished I could be there to see you all and attend her services but I will be up in Cache Valley visiting my daughter and her family.
Please know how much I thought of your mom.
Heaven is a better place now because of her sweet spirit!
Love Always,
V. Blaine Cutler

Shirley was a radiant personality whose welcoming smile brightened the Library as she welcomed patrons. I enjoyed working with her very much. My sincere sympathy to your family. May the Lord bless you with peace and comfort.
