Wayne BOIRE Obituary
August 19, 1955 – August 20, 2016
You will be missed but never forgotten. It is with great sorrow that we announce Wayne's peaceful passing on Saturday, August 20, 2016 just hours after his 61st birthday. He has gone to join the other family members that have preceded him, namely his mother, Martha and father, Aime Boire. Wayne will always be in the thoughts and prayers of his children, brothers and sister and relatives: children Andrew Boire (Sheena Proulx, grandchildren Eden and Knoxx), Kyle and Christine along with their mother Carol Boire. Rick (June) Boire, Sherry Boire, Darin (Karen) Boire and Perry Boire (Maxine Boese). Wayne's true passion in life was family, fishing, and gardening. Wayne was always available to comment lend an ear and to help when needed, he truly enjoyed the visits from any who dropped in. It is an honour to have been guided by such a great kind hearted person. We will miss you. Thank you cannot begin to express the families' sincere appreciation for all the friends and family that touched our lives. More thanks to his oncologist, Dr. Iqbal and the staff at the Cancer clinic as well as the tender touch of Dr. Daniels. A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Wednesday August 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home with the Rite of Committal to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be left at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME (306-244-5577).

Very sad to read of Wayne's passing. We used to live across the street from the Boire family in Gladmer Park. Lots of good memories. My condolences to the family.

To Sherry, Perry and the rest of the Boire clan, please accept my sincere condolences. I was saddened when I heard that Wayne had passed. I knew Wayne from the university and when he left we had shared many visits. He was such a sweet soul, I will miss him and his spirited laugh! May wonderful memories of Wayne carry you through this difficult time.

I was one of Wayne's Volunteer Drivers for the Cancer Society for the last four or five years, I believe. Wayne was a truly lovely person. He was unfailingly polite, respectful and always pleasant, no matter how he was feeling. He was so proud of his sons, and was grateful for his sister, Carol. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss him.

Have not seen any of the Boire boys in years but have very fond memories of growing up with them on Wiggins Ave and doing all kinds of crazy fun things & shennanigans during those endless summers.

I was very sad to hear of Wayne's passing.I remember Wayne from the food service department at the university of Saskatchewan. He was always happy and had a funny joke for me. He was kind and respectful towards others. I will always remember his smile!

My thoughts are with all the Boire family at this sad time. We remember all the fun times our families had growing up together in Gladmer Park, even the broken window from a young lad who was into baseball! We have many memories that we will always cherish. Love you all.

Gary and I were so saddened to hear the news that Wayne had passed away....we always remembered how much fun we had with Wayne and Carol and the boys when we lived in Lloydminster. The camping and boating memories will always remain in our minds. Please accept our condolences.
