Katie NIEKAMP

NIEKAMP _The death of Mrs. Katie (nee Kiefer) Niekamp, 77 years of Humboldt, occurred at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon on Monday, September 8, 2003. Katie will be lovingly remembered by three daughters and seven sons, Theresa (Allan) Engele of Carmel; Alfred (Kris) of Lloydminster; Carl (Bonnie) of Fort St. John, BC; Loretta (Jerome) Novecosky of Humboldt; Dan (Wendy) of Fort St. John, BC; Robert of Calgary, AB; Lorne (Theresa) of Humboldt; Ken (fiancee Jenny) of Outlook; Don (Maryann) of Martensville and Marian (Abe) Wiens of Grande Prairie, AB; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a special friend, William of Calgary, AB; four brothers and one sister; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clemens Niekamp (1989); a son, Ervin Niekamp (2001); and by her parents, Karl and Katherine (nee Muyres) Kieffer. The Prayer Service for Katie will be held at St. Augustine R.C. Church, Humboldt on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered from St. Augustine R.C. Church on Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Fr. Murray Kuemper. Interment will follow at St. Augustine R.C. Cemetery.
