January 15, 1919 - September 16, 2012
Ethel Winder, age 93, passed away on September 16, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 21, 2012 at the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338-4th Avenue N) at 11:00 am. A family committal of cremains will be held privately at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Ethel is survived by her six children, Jim (Carol) Winder, Dale Winder, Marion (Floyd) Jobson, Karen (Ron) Isley, Avis (Grant) Gerwing, and Susan (Wayne) Starling; grandchildren Kelly (Fern) Winder, Kevin (Ingrid) Winder, Cheryl Kjemhus, Sharon(Leo) Bates, Shannon (Kevin) Mack, Gord (Veronica) Isley, Brenda (Jon) Husband, Neil (Allison) Isley, Amy (Brian) Woodard, Diane (Ryan) McLean, Lana (Matt) Obach, Duncan Starling and Brent (Celestine Evans) Starling; great-grandchildren, Nancy, Jamie, and Deanna Stockdale Winder, Rachel, Rebekah and Michael Winder, Anna, Ryan, and Scott Kjemhus, Morganne Mack, Aidan, Drake, and Jax Bates, Dylan and Lauryn Isley, Erin and Heidi Husband, Colby and Barrett Isley, Laura and Sara Woodard; sister Joyce (Bill) Maile; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Winder, her parents William and Ethel Rousell, eleven brothers and two sisters; granddaughter Tina Winder. Email condolences can be sent to [email protected]. Dear Auntie Ethel's family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Auntie Ethel is a wonderful lady and I have many fond memories of her smile, helpfulness and laugh. It gives me joy to think of all the family and friends who are welcoming and celebrating her arrival in her new home.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to be with you Friday for the service. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
