Debee TARAS Obituary
November 14, 1952 – November 30, 2015
It is with great sadness the family of Debee Taras announce her passing on November 30, 2015. Debee is survived by her husband John and daughters, Kira and Tennise; her brothers Ronald (Adeline) and Wesley (Maria); brother-in-law James Taras, as well as cherished nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Debee was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Olive Summach; brothers Jodey and Edward; parents- in-law Michael and Agnes Taras; dear friend and cousin-in-law, Diane Nixon; and other cousins, aunts and uncles. Debee was a kind considerate woman with a gentle endearing spirit. She loved her family and cared deeply for her friends. She never ceased to appreciate and see value in the world around her. Our dearest Debee has left us with treasures of memories and love that will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who provided care and support to Debee. A special thank you to Dr. Takaya, Dr. Loewy, and the staff at St. Paul's on November 30th. Debee's Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow. Interment will take place at The Columbarium at St. John's Cathedral, 816 Spadina Crescent East, at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. 1 John 5:4 tells us that whatever is born of God overcomes the world. Debee was born of God therefore she overcame this world! Her time away from us who believe as she did will only be a moment. However, our memories of Debee will last forever. I know, I have lots of fun memories! May God Bless you and strengthen you as you continue to serve Him. Debee & I shared lots of laughter, tears, secrets, and fears. She was the very best friend a woman could have. She loved her husband deeply,and was so proud her 2 beautiful daughters. Heaven will be happier now. Much love, Mary & Keith Milne
