I still cherish the photo of my mother and father with VIc and Gordie when they were young adults in Saskatoon. On behalf of my wife and myself, I offer our thoughts and prayers to the Howe family and relatives. Rick and Ann Yano

Moncton has lost a "Howe" hockey legend of our own. Vic and my brother were neighbours and talked to him several times-always a pleasure. I also had the priviledge of playing hockey with him in The Press League and other occasions.....a great athlete .

To the Family of Vic Howe:
About 15 minutes ago, I purchased a Saskatoon Quaker 1953-54 hockey program on eBay. Vic's name is in the program, wearing #9.
During my growing up years in Saskatoon, I got to know Vic's sister Gladys Lyell and her son Stan. They possessed some of the same athletic ability as Vic and Gord, although their sport was curling.
I am pleased to learn that the fine young man that I watched as a youngster has had a long and happy life.
Sincere sympathy.

Very sad to hear of Vic's passing. As a kid new him as a player as an adult knew the person. Always welcomed a conversation with Vic.
