George Greschner Obituary

George Anton Greschner, age 85, of Goodsoil, SK passed away peacefully on Nov.21, 2015 surrounded by family. He was born in Dodsland, SK on April 23, 1930 and moved to Goodsoil when he was 6 months old, a place he called home for the next 85 years. George was a faith-filled man, deeply committed to his family and his church. He was happiest when he was surrounded by the love and laughter of his family and friends. George is lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Mary (Feser) and their 9 children: Lucille, Meadow Lake; Marie Klassen, Goodsoil; Donna (Alan McHughen), Riverside, CA; Jerry (Julie), Edmonton; Mark (Cindy), Regina; Debra (Nick Rissman), Beaumont, TX; Toby, La Ronge; Brad, St Albert; Angela (Ross Brossart), Saskatoon; as well as 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. George was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Elaine (Toby's wife) in 2013. Prayer services will be Friday, November 27th at 7pm and Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 28th at 11am both at St Boniface Catholic Church, Goodsoil, SK. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Sorry to hear about George's passing. I have a lot of good memories of George, such as the with the Knights of Columbus and doing his and Joe's tax returns. Many ofyou will not remember me, but Joe wll. So sorry.
