Gene was such an inspiration to me, especially during my high school and college years. He gave me numerous opportunities and taught me so much about life and what a Christian man looks like. I have so many fond memories (and stories) from the many hours I spent with Gene in the hay fields and horse barn and looking over a dogs back hoping for a large covey. Emily, you and your family are in our prayers. With much love and appreciation.
