Mrs. Outten passed Feb. 23, 2012. Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, she was a daughter of Frank and Anna Williams Watson.. She was formerly employed with Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Outten was a member of Bishops' Memorial AME Church where she served proudly as the Church Mother. She also served on the Usher Board, Steward Board, Bus Ministry and the YPD. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Manning Outten; children, Samuel Davis, Barbara (Kenneth) Marshall, Clayton, Anthony (Linda) Davis, Gwendolyn and Donna (Anthony) Outten; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and host of other loving family members, church members and dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. www.bosticktompkinsinc.com
