We have seen many changes in our world since 2013, but one thing that has not changed is the fact that Jay Gross has not been with us for eight years now. We have had to continue in our lives without him, but I know he is not forgotten. We cannot help but wonder how different these eight years might have been. Love and peace to us all

Jay was a long time friend of mine for over 20 years. I feel terrible about his death. The past several years we had not been in touch, but I often thought of him. I made a few attempts to email and text him about a year or so ago. I finally sat down and tried to google him and I am still in shock. He was a great friend to me when I was young and needed a friend. We loved getting together for photo sessions. He taught me a lot about art, life and myself.
If anyone who knew him well reads this, please contact me; tonystansell @ Gmail.com.
RIP my friend.....I will reserve a place in my heart for you. I love you Jay....

Plum , this is the photo that was featured in Jays group on Redbubble.com thank you Jay

Profuse thanks to "D.M." for renewing Jay Gross' guest book!.. unfortunately, I also just tried Jay's personal page filled with his photographic work and books he's written, fotoartista.com.. it's gone.. whoever was paying to keep it going didn't.. there is a mirror of it on archive.org's "wayback machine" from a year ago if you want to see it.. https://web.archive.org/web/20140517103450/http://fotoartista.com/
However if you try to go directly to fotoartista.com, you'll get a page that says the domain name is for sale, so no one renewed it.. I don't know if, at this point in time, it's even possible to renew it..

Harv..

I am very sorry to hear of your passing, my friend. I never met you face to face but I felt I knew you very personally thru your artwork and your kindness when featuring works and making comments on Redbubble. You were very humble, kind and quick to praise. You will be sorely missed and may we meet on the other side, singing in God's choir.

I was delighted to see Jay at our last high school reunion luncheon. I've had his business card on my desk ever since. The picture shown above is the one on his card. The day before his death I had a vision of all his classmates welcoming him with open arms...thinking it was of the next reunion but maybe it was of all those who love him welcoming him home. I'm sure of it! I hope you'll be there to welcome me, Jay.
