Not sure what to say?

Wow! I just found out that you were my dad´s 1/2 brother! Found your name in some old records that he kept...I wish I could´ve met you. Rest in Peace...

Gosh it´s been so many years since I have been able to see your fantastic still life art works on redbubble. Missing you x

We have seen many changes in our world since 2013, but one thing that has not changed is the fact that Jay Gross has not been with us for eight years now. We have had to continue in our lives without him, but I know he is not forgotten. We cannot help but wonder how different these eight years might have been. Love and peace to us all

Admired his work on R/B, RIP Jay. sympathy to his family.

Jay was a long time friend of mine for over 20 years. I feel terrible about his death. The past several years we had not been in touch, but I often thought of him. I made a few attempts to email and text him about a year or so ago. I finally sat down and tried to google him and I am still in shock. He was a great friend to me when I was young and needed a friend. We loved getting together for photo sessions. He taught me a lot about art, life and myself.
If anyone who knew him...

Profuse thanks to "D.M." for renewing Jay Gross' guest book!.. unfortunately, I also just tried Jay's personal page filled with his photographic work and books he's written, fotoartista.com.. it's gone.. whoever was paying to keep it going didn't.. there is a mirror of it on archive.org's "wayback machine" from a year ago if you want to see it.. https://web.archive.org/web/20140517103450/http://fotoartista.com/
However if you try to go directly to fotoartista.com, you'll get a page that...

Dana Dominiak - you emailed me on 05 August 2015 asking me to tell you what happened to Jay, but you did not give me your email address and there are half a dozen people with your name spelled the same way on fb.. please email me directly at hlaser at socal dot rr dot com and I'll be able to email you back directly.. hopefully you'll see this message.. Jay's Legacy guestbook is not the place to explain what happenened to HIM..

Jay I will miss you forever my friend! You are one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever met. You must be in that big Amiga in the sky. I wish you were here to say something funny so I could stop crying.
