Lynn S. Clary

Lynn S. Clary CHAPIN - Lynn S. Clary, 52, of Chapin, SC died on June 21, 2013 in Chapin, SC. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara T. Shuler of Orangeburg, SC. She is survived by her husband Leslie R. Smith of Chapin, SC; her children William D. Clary, Hampton S. Clary, and S. Caroline Clary of Chapin, SC; her father Hubert L. Shuler, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; brothers Hubert L. Shuler, III (Julianne) of Orangeburg, SC and Edwin T. Shuler of Charlotte, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Clary was born in Orangeburg where she spent much of her life. She graduated from Wade Hampton Academy and attended Converse College, Clemson University, and Columbia College. She was employed with School District 5 of Lexington & Richland Counties where she had recently been named Assistant Student Nutrition Manager for the new Spring Hill High School. She was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Orangeburg by Rev. David Caughman and Rev. Jody Flowers at 12 noon on June 24, 2013. The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorial gifts be sent to Chapin United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 415 Lexington Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036.
