I was saddened to hear that Nancy had passed away. I was one of her Y-Teens in 1952 and then worked for her at the YWCA after school while I was a student at College of Charleston. We all loved Nancy. I later was the Teen Age Program Director at the YWCA from 1957-1961 and again from 1973-1981. I was also Youth Director at Charleston AFB. My love for working with teen-agers came from Nancy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sara Tisdale

I remember Mrs. Altman as always having a big smile on her face and so happy to see you! She was my Junior Girl Scout leader at Duncan Methodist Church and I remember looking forward to our meetings with her and Pat Doyle! They made it a memorable experience all of us young girls! She was a very special person and contributed in many ways to our community. My prayers are with you all during this time. I was sorry to miss her service but we were unfortunately out of town Saturday.
