Donald Milam Obituary

Donald L. Milam WEST COLUMBIA It is with great sadness that the family of Donald L. Milam announces his passing on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Don was born in Fort Worth, TX October 19, 1928. He worked as an Electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He entered the ministry in 1963 and started churches in Montana, Nebraska and Pennsylvania. He served as a staff pastor at Forest Drive Church in Columbia, SC for 8 years. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda of 24 years, his children, Don Milam, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, Mike Milam of Phoenix, AZ and Ashleigh Milam of Cayce, SC. He will also be remembered by his six grandchildren, Troy, Joel, Melissa, Kelly, Andy and Jeffery and by sixteen great-grandchildren and six, great-great-grandchildren; also his brothers, Jim Milam of Broken Arrow, OK and Jerald Blanton of California. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy, two brothers, Roy and Van Milam and two sisters, Mary Ann Garrett and Patsy Miller. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.caughmanharmanfuneralhome.net.
