Joseph Stengline Obituary

Joseph Keith Stengline, 62, of Gouldsboro, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, surrounded by his family.

Born May 3, 1955, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Joan (Rink) Stengline and was a graduate of North Pocono High School. Keith, as he was known, enlisted in the Navy serving in Vietnam. He was very active in the John J. Michaels Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5207 in Covington Twp. and also the Veterans of the Vietnam War Inc. in Pittston. Keith was also very instrumental in the construction of the Sober House for Vets in South Dakota for vets suffering from addiction.

He is survived by a son, Joseph Jr.; his sister, Debra Stovall; his brothers, Robert; Kenneth and wife, Christine; Richard and wife, Debra; Daniel; Paul and wife, Kate; and Thomas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services LLC in Spring Brook Twp.

To all of my cousins I am so sorry this happened. Keith and I had kept close by going on many camping and fishing trips together. I only hope that this brings us all closer together again. Family is everything, I love you all.
