Nicholas Nebzydoski Obituary

Nicholas Nebzydoski, 35, of Union Dale, died Monday morning at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, after a courageous battle with cancer. His wife is Kristin Woodmansee Nebzydoski.

Born Oct. 12, 1981, in Carbondale, he was the son of Thomas and Sharon Chicosky Nebzydoski, of Pleasant Mount. Nick was a graduate of Forest City Regional High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology. He was the owner of Neb Fence Inc.

Nick was an avid collector of almost anything, could fix almost everything and loved to find a good deal. Nick loved helping others and touched so many lives. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, anything outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He most of all loved his daughter, Gwyn. He was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, cousin and friend, and will be deeply missed by everyone.

In addition to his wife, Kristin, and daughter, Gwyneth, surviving are a sister, Melissa Chiarelli and husband, Mike, of Perkasie; his parents; grandmother; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. James Church in Pleasant Mount. Friends are asked to go directly to church. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Pleasant Mount.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nick's name to the Nebzydoski-White Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit local 4-H members; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
