John Froese Obituary

A light went out in our lives. John "Jack" Froese, 32, of Dunmore, died Friday at home from a heart attack.

Jack was born December 15, 1978, in Scranton. Son of Jack and Patty Froese. Jack grew up in Dunmore. He was a 1998 graduate of Dunmore High School. He received his associates from Luzerne County Community College in record and sound engineering. Jack's personality was bigger than life. He always had some sarcastic comeback for anything anyone had to say. He could make you laugh even on your worst day. He loved spending time with his kids watching them grow and learn. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, especially Michelle. Jack was also into tattoos, both getting and collecting tattoo art work. Each one had a special meaning to him and there was a reason for him having each one. Jack had an immense passion for music from the time he was small. He was a founding member of the band for Strength for A Reason, Ray Brower and Scrap. He loved to write and play new songs especially for his kids. He also loved working on and building motorcycles as well as riding them. It was where he felt most at peace. He was also one of the founding members the Baseball Furies Stunt team. Jack had a love of all animals, having various pets throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Also surviving are a daughter, Emma Rose, 4; a son, Coilin Michael, 3; and their mother Jenn Whitlock at home; a sister, Sarah Veater, husband Greg, and a niece Charleigh, Dunmore. Maternal grandparents James Michael McGraw Sr. and Jacqulyn, Dunmore; aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Frank and Joan Froese, an uncle, Mike Froese and a cousin, Eddie Samuels.

A blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St., in Dunmore by the Rev. Cyril Edwards. Friends may call Thursday, from 5-9 p.m. To send the family an online condolence, please visit www.Dunmore FuneralHome.com.

The world lost a great person. I have had some of the best times of my life with Jack. I remember when I first met him I was 14 riding in the car with him and his cousin Frank listening the theme song from Sesame Street with the windows down and the radio blasting singing, It was hilarious. I remember him doing some crazy stuff to always make people laugh and entertain. He was someone that you can always count on to be there for you no matter what the circumstance or time of day. He is part of our crew ?. We will miss you brother.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Froese, Jen, Emma and Coilin,
Sarah, Greg and Charleigh,

We are so shocked and saddened at the loss of Jack.
We shared so much with him throughout the years, and we were fortunate to have many recent visits with Jack - listening to stories about Emma and Coilin, hearing his motorcycle plans, playing music, and helping him design a guitar.

Jack was his best self lately, truly in high spirits and embracing life. He was full of energy, inspiration and purpose. He was a loyal and supportive friend. We truly loved him.

His memory will live on through his beautiful kids and the rest of his loved ones and those he held close.

We wish you comfort in memories, and light in this dark time.
