Pearl Terry

Pearl Terry, 92, of Dickson City, died Sunday morning at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Terry. They celebrated 71 years of marriage in October.

Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Adolph and MaryAnn Narkovicz Krukovicz, she was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City, and its Christian Mothers Society. She was educated in St. Mary's Parochial School and Dickson City High School. Before retirement, she was employed in the local garment industry, having last worked for Baumel Dress, Olyphant.

The family would like to thank Mountain View Care Center, especially the nursing staff in Camelot, for the extraordinary care they gave Pearl.

Surviving are a daughter, Diane Yanochko and husband, Michael, Dickson City; three grandchildren, Stephen Yanochko, Dickson City; Brenda Zavistoski and husband, Michael, Mountaintop; and Gregory Yanochko, Blakely, and companion, Mary Louise Byrne; two great-grandchildren, Mason Zavistoski and Krysten Zavistoski and fiancé, Cameron Moore; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by sisters, Margaret "Jacobs" Jackovwicz, Leocadia Sheffick, Anastasia Nicholais and Sophie Krukovicz; and brothers, Anthony, Edward and Raymond Krukovicz.

The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass at 11 in St. Mary's Visitation Church. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Dickson City.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
