Darleen Rosalie Collins

Darleen R. (Ziolkowski) Collins Port Huron Township Darleen Rosalie Collins, 65, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, October 3, 2010. She was born February 5, 1945 in Port Huron to the late James and Lillian Collins. Darleen worked as a clerk at the Port Huron branch of the Secretary of State for 24 years. Following her retirement, she loved working at the Marysville bookstore "Too Little Time". She enjoyed reading and spending time with her Breakfast Club. She is survived by four sons, Leslie Ziolkowski, Timothy (Jacki) Ziolkowski, Brian (Andrea) Ziolkowski and Matthew (Linda) Ziolkowski; six grandchildren, Caitlin (Brendt) Gerics, T.J., Brittany, Morgan, Amanda and Brendan Ziolkowski; a cousin, whom she thought of as a "sister", Ilona (Luke) Ouellon; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Collins and Diane (James) Sharpe; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her very close friends, Nancy, Bonnie, Judy and Emily. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Jon; and two brothers, Floyd and James T. Collins. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
