Oldea Bozeman Obituary

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Oldea Bozeman, 93, of 1007 Madison St., died Aug. 16, 2012 at the Hospice Home of Burlington.
She was the daughter of the late Ms. Irene Watkins, and wife of the late Mr. Carl Bozeman. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved politics and wrestling.
Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Bozeman of the home and Stella Austin of Burlington; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Carl Bozeman Jr. and George Edward Bozeman; daughter, Francis Holman; brother, George D. Watkins; sisters, Della Mae Burns, Ella Mae Madison and Lucille Burns; two grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The public viewing will be from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 in the Roy Blackwell Chapel at Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington. At other times the family will receive visitors and friends at the home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 in the Roy Blackwell Chapel, Blackwell Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. The family will arrive at 1:30 p.m.
Services are entrusted to Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington.
