Walter Strader Obituary
He was born, in Rockingham County, December 18, 1942 to Johnny and Edna Stanley Strader. He attended Caswell County schools and was a farmer for many years and of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, at a time to be determined later, in Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Marie Strader, of the home; two sons, Michael Strader of Durham and Mitchell Strader of Cherry Grove; two sisters, Carolyn Wiess of Providence and Margaret Oakes of Danville, Va.; brother, James Strader of Mebane; and one grandchild, Hayley Strader.
He was predeceased by his parents, Johnny and Edna Strader.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Harrelson Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Protection Society of Caswell County, P.O. Box 193, Yanceyville, NC 27379.
Harrelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Florence, Iam so so sorry for your loss. Prayers are with you. Iam so glad I got to meet him at the doctors office, he was fun to talk to and had a great sense of humor. Thinking of you, will get in touch later.
