Aletha Morace Deville

Services for Aletha Morace Deville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2011 at St. John Catholic Church, Deville with Father Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Deville under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mrs. Deville, 78, of Deville passed away, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Deville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Maurice L. Deville, Sr.; parents, Bowman and Mertie Sanders Morace; sister, Ula Mae Adams

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Linda Deville Cole and husband Nick, Rena Deville Cole and husband Fred, Veronica Deville Hale and fianc? Keith Smith; sons, Maurice "Buddy" Deville, Jr. and wife, Debra, Paul Deville and wife Geneva; sisters, Odean Morace Deville and Lucille Morace; brother, Russell Morace; grandchildren, Nick Cole, III, Michelle Cole Bryant, Kevin Cole, Wayne "Bo" Cole, Shona Cole, Jamie Cole, Jennifer Mace, Louis Mace, Melissa Deville, Shaun Hale, Stacy Hale Thomas, Stephanie Hale McCorkle, Heather Hale Lonidier, Derrick Deville, Dusty Deville, Aletha "Allie" Deville and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nick Cole, III, Shaun Hale, Derrick Deville, "Bo" Cole, Louis Mace, Dusty Deville, Kevin Cole, Jamie Cole and Jerry Deville. Honorary pallbearer will be Melissa Nicole Deville.

Visitation will be Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday. A Christian Wake Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

She was my newest and oldest friend. I will miss our long talks, the gossiping, the laughs and eating tater tots and Dr. Pepper at Sonic. It breaks ny heart that I didn't know her earlier. So sweet to me. She IS missed, Loved you, Ms. Aletha
