Larry and Paul, I will cherish the times growing up in the neigborhood. The time I spent at your house playing basketball and board games. Your mom and father always made me feel welcome when I came over. My condolences to you and family.

I was one of those young teachers under Dr. Davis's watchful eye in the early 1980's. I will always remember how Dr. Davis could remember the details of all our previous conversations and could remember exactly where he left off the previous class meeting or a class meeting the previous week. I hope as I age I am even one fourth as mentally alert as he was in the 1980's at Louisiana College.

I'm sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful teacher and a fine man.

I appreciate the contribution he made to Louisiana College, and I enjoyed my relationship with him while he taught there. I also enjoyed the tennis matches we played together back in the 80s and 90s. It was a pleasure to have known him. Best wishes to the family.
