Funeral services for Carolyn Ann Dalton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with the Reverend Mark Breland officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Gardner under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Carolyn Ann Dalton, age 66 of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.

She was a native of Otis, Louisiana. She was a member of Airbase Road Baptist Church, Alexandria. She was a homemaker. Carolyn was a notorious cook and baker, winning numerous awards for her skills. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orvel and Dorothy Whittington; and brother, Jeffrey Whittington.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty-seven years, Ray Dalton, Sr. of Alexandria; daughter, Amanda Dalton Gibson (Aaron) of El Dorado, Arkansas; son, Ray Dalton, Jr. (Tracey) of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Jane Sober of Pineville, June Wicker of Alexandria and Dottie Herrin of Tioga; three grandchildren, Lillian Jones, Jackson Gibson and Oliver Gibson.

Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service.
