Janet Sasser Obituary
July 25, 1933 - January 28, 2017
Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Holloway Sasser will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Living Waters Tabernacle, Lecompte, with Reverends Bobby Carter, Gerald Holloway, Philip Holloway, Danny Swinnea and Joey Swinnea officiating. Interment will follow in Lecompte Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Sasser, 83, of Forest Hill, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Holloway; one son, Donnie Holloway; one son-in-law, Reverend Daniel Swinnea and three triplet grandsons, Jonathon, Dewight & Micheal Swinnea.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her Loving Husband, Eual Sasser, of Hineston; two sons, Gerald Holloway and his wife, Joy, of Forest Hill and Ricky Holloway and his wife, Emily, of Forest Hill; two daughters, Betty Swinnea, of Ten Mile and Wanda Carter and her husband, Bobby, of Sterlington; one sister, Bessie McMahon, of Baton Rouge; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and five stepchildren and grandchildren.
Friends may call Living Waters Tabernacle on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitation will reopen on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve are: Richard Swinnea, Dewayne Hazelton, Trent Holloway, Devin Holloway, Clint Johnson, Bo Johnson, Jonathon Holloway and Dewayne Trahan. Honorary Pallbearer will be John Holloway.
