Funeral Services for Mr. Odis Meylian will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hineston Tabernacle, with Reverend's Randy Harper and Jeff Scroggins officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Methodist Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Meylian, 93, of Hineston entered eternal rest on Friday, October 2, 2015 in his residence.

Mr. Odis was a board member for the Hineston Water System and a U.S. Army Vet of WWII. He worked for the state highway department for over thirty years and worked for G and W Logging after retiring.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bookie and Ada Potter Meylian; his five brothers, George Meylian, Richard Meylian, Jim Meylian, Milford Meylian, J.B. Meylian and his six sisters, Agnes Smith, Minerva Robinson, Lucy Wells, Martha Goodwin, Mary Golemon and Mandy Golemon.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty seven years, Virginia Rose Meylian of Hineston; his five sons; Wayne Meylian of Hineston, Nelon Meylian and his wife Wendy of Gardner, Noland Meylian of Hineston, Doland Meylian of Hineston, Dale Meylian and his wife Donna of Hineston; his daughter, Sheila Dorsey and her husband Larry of Emler; two grandchildren, C.J. Dorsey and Daleigha Meylian; one great granddaughter, Kyleigh Dorsey.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Mr. Meylian's sons and son-in-law. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.

Friends may call at Hineston Tabernacle on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Visitation will reopen on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
