Funeral services for Lillian Thompson Walters will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in the Grace Christian Church in Glenmora with Brother Benard McCreery, Brother Dewayne Irwin and Brother Zack Thacker officiating. Committal service will follow in the Butters Cemetery in Forest Hill under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Lillian, 83, of Forest Hill, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2015, in her residence. She was born November 8, 1932, in New Augustus, Mississippi to the union of Hubert Smith and Jenny Mae Pierce Smith. She was a member of the Grace Christian Center and worked at the Piccadilly as a server. Lillian was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kennedy Thompson; one brother, Clyde Smith; and two grandchildren, Kim Martinez and Pam Montezuma.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: two sons, Kenneth Thompson (Charlotte) of Glenmora and Roger Thompson of Forest Hill; three daughters, Carol Thompson of Glenmora, Sharon Jenkins (Ernie) of Oakdale, and Joyce Hewitt (Rob) of Forest Hill; three sisters, Lois Hodges, Mary Jones, and Chris Ladner; A Special Niece, Dot Carriker; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and one on the way; 15 great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Ronnie Thompson, Lil' Rob Hewitt, Dewain Thompson, Ernie Jerkins, Carl James Robinson, and Tyler Pringle. Honorary pallbearer to serve will be J. R. Dousay.

Visitation will be held in the Grace Christian Center today, November 24, 2015 from 6 p.m. until service time in the church on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 2 p.m.
