Funeral services for Justin Keith Barton, Sr. will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Forest Hill with Reverend Dwayne Irwin officiating. Committal service will follow at Paul Cemetery in Forest Hill under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Justin, 58, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Pineville. He was born July 23, 1957 in Lecompte to the union of Edwin Barton, Sr. and Alice Hanks Barton. In 1975, he graduated from Rapides High School. Worshipping and serving God with his church family, the Pentecostals of Alexandria, was one of his most enjoyable times. Justin was a welder, installed satellites and was a true Louisiana Paradise Lover; enjoyed fishing, hunting, and nature. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Mary Winegeart Barton and his maternal grandparents, Ivy L. and Ruby Brady Hanks.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his loving wife of 24 years, Lori Stewart Barton of Tioga; his parents, Edwin and Alice Barton of Forest Hill; one son, Justin Keith Barton, Jr. of Tioga; two daughters, Adriane Gail Barton Rachal and husband, Dalton of Dry Prong and Kaitlyn Renee Barton of Tioga; two brothers, Edwin L. Barton, Jr. of Forest Hill and Brian Edward Barton of Florida; two sisters, Angela Barton Thompson of Pineville and Rhonda Michele Barton of Tioga; one grandson, Ian Michael Benoit; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Brian Barton, Dwain Thompson, Brandon Coker, Robert Coker, Adam Coker, and Edwin Barton, Sr.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m., then on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the church.
