Lois Teal Obituary
Graveside services for Lois Teal will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 5, 2016 in the Lone Star Cemetery with Reverend Calvin Robinson officiating under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Lois, 79, of Hineston, was taken in the Arms of Angels, on Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Hineston. She was born April 5, 1937 in Hineston to the union of William D. Squyres and Edith Morrison Squyres. Known as "Mama" and MawMaw" to family, and "Miss Lois" to the community, God granted her wish to leave this earth and pass away at her home. Lois died as she lived, a good Christian. She was the sweetest, kindest person you could meet. To know her was to love her. She was known far and wide for her sewing and ironing skills and her willingness to help others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith Squyres; her loving husband, Louis C. Teal, Sr.; her brothers, Bob, Charles, Herman and Marion; her mother-in-law, Mary Teal; and grandson, Reece Meylian.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her son, L. C. Teal, Jr. (Tina) of Pineville; her daughters, Peggy Teal Leach (Lee) of Tioga and Marilyn Teal Meylian (Rodger) of Glenmora; her sister, Annie Mae Bounds (Burlen) of Livingston, Texas; her grandchildren, Louis Teal III (Amy), Danielle Morrow (Chris), Tiffany Williams (Wade), Nicholas Teal, Christopher Leach (Alex), Tammy Wilson (Murrell), Michael Leach and Mason Meylian (Lakin); great grandchildren, Hailey, Noah and Sophie Teal, James, Dustin and Adrienne Morrow, Tatum Wilson, Reece Michelle and Kael Meylian; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Louis Teal, III, Nick Teal, Mason Meylian, Mark Bounds, Michael Leach and Noah Teal. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be James, Dustin, Kael, and Tatum.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Ms. Teal's passing. She has been one of my favorite patients. Such a sweet, sweet lady. I know everyone at Stat HH will miss seeing her.
