Reverend Kenneth Crumbley, Sr.

Funeral services for Reverend Kenneth Crumbley will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 in The Rush Chapel, Oakdale with Reverend Jason Townley officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Oakdale under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Reverend Crumbley, 80, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Grace Home, Alexandria, LA.

He was a kind, caring man who loved and served God through ministry throughout his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Jakun "Nancy" Crumbley, his son; John Crumbley, his parents; Seborn and Johnnie Crumbley and his sister; Alice Simmons.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his son; Kenneth Crumbley, Jr. of Dallas, TX., his daughter; Toya Creighton of Delray Beach, FL, two sisters; Helen Ray, and her daughter, Bonnie Ray both of Tyler, TX; Betty Hennig and her husband Don of Tyler, TX; five grandchildren, Cameron Creighton, Chase Creighton, Brandon Burke, Sophia Crumbley and Trey Crumbley.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

So sorry to hear about Brother Crumbley. He was our pastor at Temple Baptist Church in Jena and had a profound effect on many of our lives. The memories come flooding back with the news of his passing. His memory will be eternal.
