Courtney Doyle Obituary
Funeral services for Courtney DaNae Doyle will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church of Melder, with Reverend Jason Townley officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery of Glenmora under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Courtney, 31, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 23, 1984 in Alexandria to Bryan Doyle and Donna Rivers Doyle. Courtney was Baptist that enjoyed listening to Gaither Videos. She also loved being sung to, especially "Jesus Loves Me" She enjoyed weekly rides with her PawPaw Rivers.
Courtney had a host of family and friends that loved her very much, and will be greatly missed by her sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. She loved all her cousins very much. We know as soon as she stepped into Heaven she was singing "Jesus Loves Me" to her Lord, and dancing and praising, Him.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tyrone and Doris Doyle; maternal great grandparents, Harlan Smith and Wessie Smith, and Jake and Leathy Rivers; paternal great grandparents, Curtis and Sherilda Bailey.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: mother and step father, Donna and Thomas Doyle of Glenmora; father, Bryan Doyle of Alexandria; maternal grandparents, Mary Ann and Joseph Rivers of Glenmora; one sister, Mycah Doyle of Glenmora; two step sisters Courtney Ray Doyle of Shreveport, and Wendy Doyle Chamberlain of Baton Rouge; maternal aunts, Shannon Rivers of Glenmora, and Shelli Manuel of Oberlin; paternal aunt, Dana Tassin of Alexandria; loving and devoted caregivers, Debra Null of Glenmora, Donna Tennie of Lecompte, Janice Mitchell of Glenmora, and Bambie Patterson of Deville.
Pallbearers to serve will be, Dustin Clark, Kylar Martin, Greg Clark, Mike Manuel, Donald Tassin, Tony Lawrence, and Darrell Robinson.
Friends may call today, Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 2 p.m. until service time on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the church.
