Jesse Harold Bond

Celebrating the Life of Jesse Harold Bond will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel. Committal service will follow in the Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Jesse, 54, of Houston, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Houston. He was born December 24, 1960 to James Harold Bond and Loretta Louella Perry Bond. He was a 1978 Oakdale High School Alumni graduating in the top of his class. Upon completing high school, Jesse entered T.H. Harris Vocational Technical School which he became certified in nondestructive testing. He went on to become a Certified Electrician while attending Lee College in Baytown, Texas, and established the Bond Electrical Business. Throughout Pasadena, he worked for various companies at different plants.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Louella Perry Bond; and one sister, Deanne Lavania Bond Dorroh.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his son, James Zack Bond of Lafayette; his granddaughter, Savannah Grace Bond; his father, Harold Bond, wife Shirley of Oakdale; his brother, Mike Bond of Oakdale; two sisters, Nelda Willis, husband Val of Houston, Texas and Kimberly Strother, husband Greg of Oakdale; two half-sisters, Blaklee "Bedoux" Landreneau, husband Stuart of DeRidder and Blair Crawford, husband Allen of Pollock; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at White Oaks Memorial Chapel from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., then on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 9 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
