Loretta Weatherford Obituary

October 7, 2015
Funeral services for Ms. Loretta Frances Weatherford will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Lonestar Pentecostal Church, Hineston, with Reverend Calvin Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Elisha Memorial Cemetery, Hineston, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Ms. Weatherford, 80, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in her residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Murry Weatherford; her step son, Charles Weatherford; her grandson, James Joshua Weatherford; her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her five sons; Louie Weatherford and his wife, Pamela, of Pasadena, TX, George Weatherford and his companion, Fay, of Hineston, Lee Weatherford and his wife, Emily, of Hineston, Sid Weatherford and his companion, Charlene, of Hineston, Ross Weatherford and his wife, Shelly, of Hineston; two daughters, Edie Weatherford Ferro of New Port Beach, CA, Amy Weatherford Smith and her husband, Jerry, of Dallas, TX and one step daughter, JoAnn Weatherford Laca of Costa Mesa, CA, 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Lonestar Pentecostal Church on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Visitation will reopen on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are her five sons; Louis Weatherford, George Weatherford, Lee Weatherford, Sid Weatherford, Ross Weatherford and her son-in-law; Jerry Smith.
