Ollie Marler Obituary
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ollie Coleman Marler will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 in the chapel of Kramer Funeral Home with Chaplain Ray Wells officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Gardner, under the direction of Kramer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ollie Coleman Marler, age 92, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in her residence.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas Connie Marler; her parents, Steve and Olla Coleman; her two sisters and six brothers.
Ollie loved to crochet for her family and friends and enjoyed working with her husband in their garden. She would fix coffee and cake for all of her friends and neighbors, and when you came to her house, you got fed whether you wanted it or not. She loved to take care of her home and family and all that it meant to do so. The loving mother and grandmother that she was will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Ollie is survived by her sons, Tom C. Marler (Shirley Jean) and Gary S. Marler (Rose), both of Sieper; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be her grandchildren: Gordon Marler, James Marler, Daniel Marler, Trenton Marler, Kirk Marler, and M.T. Amox.
Honorary Pallbearer will be her granddaughter, Stephanie Amox.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 and resume from 8:30 a.m. until time-of-service on Friday, October 16, 2015, all at Kramer Funeral Home.
The family wishes to thank, with love and appreciation, St. Joseph Hospice and all of the caregivers who have taken care of Miss Ollie for the past year.
