Clarence Guin

Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Guin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Bentley United Pentecostal Church, Bentley, La, with Reverends Bruce Maxwell and E.R. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Bay Springs Cemetery, Chopin, La, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Clarence, age 86, of Lena, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Riverside Hospital, Alexandria, La. He was a native of Lena. He was a sawmill worker for many years of his life. He was a member of the Bentley United Pentecostal Church. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mallie and Abby Guin; one son, Clarence Wayne Guin; his brothers, Mallie Guin, Link Guin, and Clinton Guin; one sister, Omie Pace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary E. Guin of Lena, La.; his two sons, Shelton R. Guin (Elizabeth) of Bentley, La and Joel Maurice Guin of Urania, La; his daughter, Rita Nell Shelton (William) of Georgetown, La; his brother, Dewitt Guin of Tullos; his sister, Romie Dyess (Jim) of Cotile Lake; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, La from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will then resume at Bentley United Pentecostal Church, Bentley, La on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
