Saddened to discover this while browsing the internet, Roy and I were great chess buddies in Natchitoches, LA in the 1970´s. He did an interview of me for the Natchitoches Times. RIP Roy and condolences to all who are related and close to him.

I was sorry to see that Bro. Pitchford had passed away. He and I always had a good baseball talk and I called him when the Astros finally reached the World Series. He was always a kind and compassionate pastor. May God's grace carry you in the difficult days ahead. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher" !
