Lucy Rafuse Obituary
She was born in Westerly, the daughter of the late Renaldo and Christine Cerasoli.
Lucy worked as a secretary for A & T in North Stonington for many years. A communicant of St. Pius X Church, she was also an avid Bridge player who enjoyed cooking.
She will be dearly missed by her son Charles Rafuse, Jr. and his wife Lori of Westerly and two daughters, Michele Dunse and her husband Thomas of Tiverton and Maureen Terranova and her husband James of Jamestown. Lucy also leaves five grandchildren, Aaron, Jameson, Abby, Myles and Max.
Visiting hours will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, on Tuesday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly. My sympathy to Lucy's family. I was her classmate at Westerly High and have kept in touch with her through the years. She was a kind and nice person and I will always remember her hearty laugh. Lucy will be remembered in the hearts of her loved ones.

It's such sad news about Lucy. I graduated from WHS 1956 with Lucy. Such a lovely girl, never had an unkind word for anyone or anything. My sympathy and condolences to her family. RIP Lucy.

Only a few days has passed since I spent our last moments together and I heard your sweet little voice. I feel blessed that I had the pleasure of knowing you and caring for you before you left us...I miss you dearly Miss Lucy.. Sorry we never got to go to Seafood Haven for that clam chowda and frittas(RI style) Me and Latte will go there soon and sit there by the water and think of you. Love u Luce!❤

So sorry to learn tonight of Lucy's passing. God Love her, in Heaven now with Charles Sr. (such a good guy, both such good people). 57 devoted years of marriage, an inspiration for us all. RIP Lucy, and Dear God, please bless her family during these difficult days.
