Charles Hickox Obituary

Lifelong Westerly, R.I. resident, Dr. Charles F. Hickox, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 30th, 2015 in Peacedale, R.I. with family present.
Born Sept. 13th, 1919, this WWII veteran is preceded in death by his late wife, Jean Webster Hickox, and is now survived by three sons, two daughters, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Charlie was dearly loved by his family and friends. This active member of the Westerly community will be fondly remembered, and greatly missed by all.
The entire Hickox family would like to thank the many friends and the Westerly community for the many decades of fond memories.
Memorial arrangements to be announced at a later date.

I didn't know Charlie personally, but I do know that he was a great man. I am proud and honored to call his son Jay my friend. I am so sorry for his loss.
