John Manker

MANKER John "J.C." Manker, age 80, of Plain City, OH. John passed peacefully from this world to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 11, 2011. Born in 1930, Middletown, OH. The son of Howard and Mary Manker who preceded him in death, along with his brother Howard Manker, step-father Thomas Lund, first wife Margie Krasteff Manker, son William Coriell and brother-in-law John Hambel. Left to cherish his memory for all of her life is his wife of 36 years, Esther; children, Dale Coriell and Tamera (Tim) Kaufman of Phoenix AZ; grandchildren, J.C., Alex and Ben Kaufman; Bill, Katy, and Shannon Coriell; great-grand-children, Trinity and Danika Coriell; brother-in-law, Roger (Darlene) Hambel and sister-in-law, Marian Hambel; nieces, nephews and especially close cousins the Cochrans of Westboro, OH. Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy Street, Powell, OH 43065, where a Masonic service will follow at 7 p.m., all are invited to attend. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the Jerome United Methodist Church, 10531 Jerome Road, Jerome, OH (one mile north of Dublin), with an Eastern Star Service given by John and Esther's 2000 Eastern Star Grand Family. The family invites all to share in a luncheon following the service in a celebration of John's life. Private interment will be at Jerome Cemetery, Jerome OH.
