Juanita Sams Obituary

SAMS Juanita Ella Sams, 91. Sunrise March 14, 1921 in Dunham, KY and Sunset March 23, 2012 in Columbus, OH. She was a member of Calvary Tremont Baptist Church where she served as a Missionary. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Isaiah and Macie Ella Davis, husband Robert McKinley Sams, daughter Ella Macie Walker, grandsons Clifford McKinley Sams and Terrance Ben Hagood, and brothers Willie Davis and Ernest Davis. Left to cherish her memory, children, Bernestine Hagood of Bridgeport, OH, Willnita (Warner) Rickman, Ernest William Jackson and Beverley (Willie P. Jr.) Barnes all of Columbus, OH, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 12 Noon and Home Going Service 1 p.m. Friday March 30, 2012 at People With a Vision Ministries 2555 Pontiac St. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery. Triplett Funeral Home. I met Juanita 3yrs ago. My husband used to deliver her dispatch paper. Every morning she would have a smile on her face. She was the sweetest person. When we changed routes I would always ask about her to the new contractor that took over our route. She will be missed.
